Sorry.

Too busy with new job and a Masters.

Find yourself a good Swing instructor.  Be careful though, West Coast Swing is a subtle form of Swing but still needs to have the Swing Rhythm.  Ask your instructor the difference between Rhythm and Timing and heed what Sharlot Bott says http://sharlotbott.com/faq/

The Acid Test:  West Coast Swing is the Dancer's Dance.  One way of interpreting this is that Skippy Blair describes it at a Level 6 dance style (Most Technical class).

Consider the idea that a Level 1 Dance is most basic, a Level 2 Dance is Level 1 plus, a Level 3 Dance is Level 2 Dance plus, etc.

So it means someone who has experienced all dance levels will be able to utilize all their knowledge and tricks of the trade.  Look for someone as an Instructor then that has a depth of experience and knowledge of styles spanning ballroom, latino, swing, and contemporary (it is hard to span all 6 levels without touching on all of these styles).

Basic rule of thumb: An instructor will only ever output 80% of what they know. Find someone who has 100% of the picture or get 80% of what they know.
